My husband, step-son, and I just stayed at a rustic site for the weekend and we had a great time! There was a lot for everyone to do and it was great to just be outside enjoying the summer. All of the other campers were very nice, as were all of the workers. It was my step-son's first time camping and he had a great time. We will all be back very soon!

Your campground was highly recommended from one of my clients. Do you have cabins to rent? I am looking forward to staying next year :) FYI the firewood policy is not unusal many campgrounds don't allow wood to be brought in. I love that you want to protect your trees!

my family and i stayed for four nights last week. we really love your park, we found it to be very fun for all, with clean facilities, friendly staff and fellow campers...its so family oriented. the river is great for kayaking and tubing. we plan to be back for many years to come :)

In response to Anonymous on May 24th, we understand your concerns about the rules that you have seen laid out on the website. However, we have chosen to provide some of our rules so that individuals can see what we expect before they come to our park. This will help to ensure that they have a great, positive camping experience. If you don't have rules then the park will get out of hand. We also have such a strict wood policy because of the many wood diseases that are spreading throughout the state of Michigan. We would like to inform all of our campers about the wood policy so that they understand how serious it is before they arrive to our park. We also have provided a link to the Michigan Agricultural Department so that others can read the importance of transporting wood to anywhere in the state. They highly advise that you buy it where you burn it. We hope that you come and check us out sometime! We are always welcoming new campers!!
